ECCA reached out again and as of today Councilmember Selvena Brooks-Powers stated “I have not heard back from the Commissioner over at DSS. I will have Rodney from my team reach out to Assistant Commissioner Hooks to request a status update.” We will continue to keep the community posted but while you’re waiting please contact the Councilmember’s office to respectfully deny this shelter be converted into an all men’s shelter at the information below.
