The Redhook Playgroup Needs Your Input!
A preschool and childcare provider, called the The Redhook Playgroup is seeking to open a new location in the Rockaway’s, likely in the winter of 2024.
They are planning to offer full-time programming along with some flexible part-time options depending on age and family demand
The program will be progressive and child-centered, with a focus on exploration of creative materials and exploration of the natural world.
They don't know what the tuition will be yet, but the program will be tuition funded. It will seek to fill the gap between tuition and the true cost of programming with fundraising, supplemental programming for children and families, and creative use of resources.
They have not yet secured a space or finalized an opening date; but will share that information widely when they have it.
They are eager to hear from anyone who sees a way they can help, or wants to learn more.
The best way to learn more about RHP is to visit their website: www.redhookplaygroup.org (a new website will be added soon but our old site is still available and offers relevant information).
